I had a dream that I was fighting off the best artists in Raleigh armed only with a spray can, a stack of canvas cards, a sharpie and a swarm of killer yellow jackets that had built a hive deep inside my libido. I woke up with a startle, a cold sweat and a tingly libido. This could only mean one thing….. LoveBug 2010 is approaching fast…… and this year…… I’m packing heat. (heat = overinflated, machismo driven creative ego)

It would be hard to top last years event but the plans that are set for the August 6th event at Epona & Oak are primed to drop it like it’s HAWT!

A draw-off tournament will set the stage for the bloodiest, most ruthless competition this side of “Enter The Dragon“.  Artists submitted a bug-inspired self-portrait (mine below) that will be placed in an online voting competition so stay tuned and make sure you vote for your favorite man-buggery.  Proceeds from the event will go to Toxic Free NC to fight pesticide pollution in North Carolina by advocating for common-sense alternatives that protect our health and environment. That being said, I expect my people to come in swarm and carry weight like army ants. Lets do the dang thang.
