Beverly Hills Detroit

I have a strange and addictive drive to take photographs of movies and shows that I watch on the television. I realized today that I have a substantial photo set collection of a wide and peculiar variety of programs over the years. The whole idea of taking photographs is to freeze a moment in order to relive and appreciate the emotion, beauty and energy of our experiences in life. Movies (moving pictures) are millions of these moments strung together for a similar purpose. The experience of reliving a photographic moment …

Roxborough, Hilladelphia – The ups and downs of a working class neighborhood.

I moved from Detroit to a neighborhood called Roxborough in Philadelphia when I was ten. This was a very hard-nosed, working class area where fist-fights were a way of life and loyalty was paramount. Detroit lost.

I grew up in Detroit. Southwest Detroit. I moved to Philly when I was 10 and hadn’t returned to the neighborhood, friends or house that I had left behind. I would visit Detroit a few times a year to visit family but we never went back to the old neighborhood.

Bonded Llama Official

Me and the great Matt Scofield have had an eye out for a studio space for a little while. We both needed a space to work bigger and not have to worry about a paint mess, toxic fumes or man dandruff. Thanks to Matt we were able to link up with Bonded Llama Studios and score a basement studio. The location may seem a little rough around the edges but this is exactly what I was looking for. The spot has massive potential for many reasons….. It’s good.
