Hello family, friends and fans….. and any mix therein. Good to link with you as always. So, I am doing something crazy this Saturday. I have decided to fly out to beautiful Napa Valley with members of my old crew from West Philly to run a half-marathon. Now, I’m not a super-fit guy…. and let’s be real, I’m not even a regular-fit guy. Irregardless I have committed and am doing the damn thing. Some may say, “Sean, shouldn’t you be able to run 10 – 13 miles before you fly …

I have a strange and addictive drive to take photographs of movies and shows that I watch on the television. I realized today that I have a substantial photo set collection of a wide and peculiar variety of programs over the years. The whole idea of taking photographs is to freeze a moment in order to relive and appreciate the emotion, beauty and energy of our experiences in life. Detroit gets a crazy amount of press these days. It has become the visual representation of American urban decay. On the last day of our trip home we wanted to check out an open-air art piece called The Heidelberg Project. To put it simply, it is a collection of found items, painted houses and augmented scenery that exists on a few streets in East Detroit created by local resident and artist Tyree Guyton. It was an amazing sight and a must-see for anyone who visits Detroit. The project had made a decent amount of press so I had read quite a bit before visiting and I was expecting a …

Eminem put this together for his (and my own) beloved hometown. He paid for it to run during the Final 4 on CBS. This will make my Mom cry no doubt about it. It really is well done and I am very very thankful for it. It is so spot and hits me dead center every time. Stay up Detroit.
